• Have lots of pillows your favorite bedding
• Cozy blankets on hand.
• Chemo can dehydrate you so keep water near you and drink a little bit at a time.
• Room humidifier will help keep your skin and lips from drying out.
• Make sure your laptop tablet and phone and chargers are close by so you can communicate with friends and family.
• Make sure you have someone who can help with meals or simple household chores.
• In the days after chemo toxic drugs will leave your body in sweat urine and vomit your caregiver will need gloves to handle laundry and they will need to wash their hands often or use hand sanitizer to protect you both!
•  You may not be hungry and you may have an upset stomach but stock up on simple snacks like fresh fruit yogurt or gelatin and if you feel like a little chocolate go ahead you deserve it
• Finally you may have a tendency to forget things after chemo, so keep a notepad close by to write down questions for your loved ones or doctors, so you don’t have to remember to do anything but feel better
